About this event
Krewe du Vieux is one of the earliest parades of the Carnival calendar, known for satirical, adult-themed, hand-pulled and mule-drawn floats and live brass bands, and it rolls through the French Quarter itself. The January 23, 2027 date follows the krewe's established Saturday slot in the Carnival calendar, three Saturdays before Mardi Gras Day on February 9, 2027, and matches the date listed by New Orleans and Company. The date is marked expected because the City's final 2027 parade schedule had not been published at verification.
