What we collect

Reading this site collects nothing personal. We count visits with privacy-respecting analytics that set no cookies; if cookie-based analytics are added, they run only after you accept on the cookie banner, and your choice is stored on your device only.

Email: alerts and the weekly note

If you sign up for a date alert or the weekly note, we store your email address, and for alerts the event you chose, in a Cloudflare data store. Alert and note emails are sent by Resend. We use the address only to send the emails you asked for. Alert records are kept until you cancel the alert or ask for deletion; there is no time-based deletion. Every email carries an unsubscribe or manage link, and you can ask for full deletion at any time at hello@neworleanswhatson.com.

Event submissions

If you submit an event, we keep the details you send and your email address so we can check the listing and reply.

Sharing

We never sell or share your personal data. The processors named above (Cloudflare, Resend) handle data only to run this site's storage and email.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. Clicking one may tell the seller which site sent you, under that seller's own privacy policy; it does not give us your name or payment details.
