About this event
The krewe describes the procession as a medieval-themed theatrical procession inspired by Joan's time in 1400s France, honouring the golden French Quarter statue of Joan of Arc. The published route starts at Bienville and Front Streets, pauses for a toast at the Historic New Orleans Collection, a king cake ceremony at Oscar Dunn Park across from Jackson Square, and a sword blessing at St. Mary's Church in the Old Ursuline Convent, and ends at French Market Place and Barracks. The krewe notes the route is not yet finalised with police and may be modified, and calls the parade a short, family-friendly event.
