About this event

The Phunny Phorty Phellows' Twelfth Night streetcar ride is one of the oldest Carnival traditions in New Orleans, a costumed krewe announcing the opening of the season on the St. Charles line. The record is marked expected because the City of New Orleans had not published its final 2027 parade schedule at verification, and New Orleans and Company flags its 2027 dates and final routes as still to be confirmed. Lachlin approved adding it on 1 November 2026, on the same basis as the other expected carnival records.
