About this event
Bacchus, named for the Roman god of wine, is one of Carnival's super krewes, founded in 1968 and known for presenting a celebrity king and for very large floats on the Uptown route. The February 7, 2027 date is the Sunday before Mardi Gras Day, February 9, 2027, the krewe's fixed slot in the Carnival calendar. The record is marked expected because the City's final 2027 parade times and routes had not been published at verification.
