About this event
Proteus, founded in 1882, is one of the oldest parading krewes in New Orleans and traditionally rolls on Lundi Gras evening on the Uptown route, before Orpheus. The February 8, 2027 date is the Monday before Mardi Gras Day, February 9, 2027, the krewe's fixed slot in the Carnival calendar. The record is marked expected because the City's final 2027 parade times and routes had not been published at verification.
