Krewe of Zulu

About this event
Zulu, founded in 1909 by Black New Orleanians, is one of the signature parades of Mardi Gras Day and is famous for its hand-painted coconut throws. Its Mardi Gras Day slot is fixed: Zulu rolls on Fat Tuesday itself, which in 2027 falls on February 9, 47 days before Easter Sunday on March 28, 2027. The record is marked expected because the City's final 2027 parade times and routes had not been published at verification.
