About this place

City Park is where New Orleans goes to be outdoors, a vast green at the end of the Canal streetcar line with some of the oldest live oaks in the city. The grounds and the Besthoff Sculpture Garden cost nothing; the Botanical Garden, the amusement rides at Carousel Gardens, Storyland and the mini golf charge their own way in. Pick one paid extra, then picnic like you mean it.

Tickets and booking

There is no single ticket to book. The grounds and the sculpture garden are free. The Botanical Garden, Carousel Gardens, Storyland and City Putt each charge admission. The official site carries the latest visitor information.
