About this place

What began as a D-Day museum is now a campus of pavilions covering the whole war, from the Higgins boats built in New Orleans to the road to Berlin and the Pacific. The scale is the point: aircraft hang over the atrium, and the personal stories carry the detail. Book a timed ticket, arrive at opening, and give it at least half a day.
