About this place

Most of the city's parade floats are born in this warehouse, and the tour walks you through the year-round workshop among figures the size of houses. You will see sculptors and painters at work, try on costumes, and learn how a parade gets from sketch to street. It is the best single answer to the question every visitor asks: how do they make all this?
